Clowney is expected to join in the team walk-through, stretches and individual drills. Eventually, he will start practicing in team and contact drills.
O’Brien is hoping Clowney will be ready for the Texans’ Week 1 game against the Chiefs.

Originally, he had a lateral meniscus tear in the same knee that he sustained during Houston’s season opener, but it was soon clear he needed another surgery.
