GETZLAF OUT FOR DUCKS
Anaheim Ducks captain and leading scorer Ryan Getzlaf has been scratched from Sunday night's game against the Vancouver Canucks because of an upper-body injury.
Getzlaf has 10 goals and 12 points through his first 18 games, helping Anaheim vault to the top of the NHL overall standings.
The 9-year veteran, one of only five players on the Ducks' roster who helped them win their first Stanley Cup in 2006-07, recorded his first career hat trick with three goals in the first period of Friday night's 6-2 victory over Buffalo.
