But don’t worry: Thomas knows there was concern about his history with sexual harassment. He and James Dolan, head of the Madison Square Garden Company that owns the Liberty and Knicks, went on “Real Sports” to face tough questioning from Bryant Gumbel on the matter.

Here’s Thomas on the WNBA move:

Dolan admitted that the backlash awas worse than they imagined.

Thomas: Some people did.

Gumbel: That this was, to most of those women — excuse my French — a “f— you.“

Thomas: We totally understood that, got it, accepted it and not only accepted but respected their thoughts around this issue.

But, see, Thomas and Dolan continue to argue they did nothing wrong. Dolan even takes it one step further in calling Anucha Browne Sanders, the woman who won $11.5 million in court for being harassed and wrongfully terminated by Thomas, a liar.

Here’s the trailer for the “Real Sports” interview, which will air in full Tuesday night on HBO.

Dolan: I think a bunch of it she did, yes.

Gumbel: One of the reports out there is that you could have settled this thing for a few hundred thousand dollars. True?

Dolan: Yep, right, my fault.

Gumbel: Why didn’t you?

Dolan: Because I actually believed in the truth. (laugh) The fighter in me came out. I said, “I’m not going to settle because that’s an admission of guilt, and we’re not guilty.”
